English, Banjo barometer in rosewood, mercury tube design [no mercury], less crystal and reference pointer, retailed by Waight, Brompton, and with hygrometer at top, thermometer in throat, c.1860
CONDITION:
the case has shrunk a bit and the hygrometer is loose, most of the original gold accent stenciling has rubbed off over the years; crystal absent. Silvered scales for heat and pressure are well engraved, could stand re-silvering. Ht 37"
